The new hub has a total area of 12,000 square meters (m2): 3,100 m2 of offices, intended for the 140 people responsible for the administrative part of the company, and a 9,000 m2 warehouse, where 230 employees operate, responsible for sorting and distributing orders. . The new space, with a total area of 12,000 square meters, will now bring together in the same location the company's headquarters and its respective operations in the Greater Lisbon area – currently located in São João da Talha (Loures) and Olivais (Lisbon) – making this hub is not only the largest in DPD in Portugal, but also in the country. Its investment is around €30 million and is an affirmation of DPD's continued investment in innovative technology: the hub has a sorting machine with a unique crossbelt system in Portugal which, through its 405 meters of length, is able to manage more than 10,000 parcels per hour, destined for Lisbon area: Lisbon, Odivelas, Loures, Vila Franca de Xira, Mafra, Torres Vedras, Alenquer, Carregado.
